Japanzine cares - it’s true! So much so, in fact, that they want to hear all about your experiences of life in Japan. Which is why they are now calling for submissions to a unique special issue of Japanzine entitled true, providing a print platform for those anecdotes of life in Japan that are just too good not to be told.
Capturing 10 readers’ stories of bizarre, funny, intriguing or downright scary happenings, true will be published this coming August and make for perfect seaside reading. Whether you’re an aspiring writer who wants some attention or you’ve never even written an email yet you have a great story to tell, send your true anecdotes to (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
They ask that your story be set in Japan and that it be funny/scary/weird and, yes, true. Try to limit yourself to around 1,000 words. The deadline for this is July 15th, so start writing now!
