Ogilvy on Recession - Communications and Creativity in Turbulent Times

Speaker:

Orlando Camargo, President and Representative Director, and Elizabeth Hildebrand, Assistant Account Manager, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Japan

These are demanding times for global companies. Within this challenging economic climate, raising brand visibility AND value is no simple matter. In a recession, cost control and creativity are essential to any marketing communications program. So how do successful companies excel in a recession while others struggle and flounder? Come hear about creative ways in which influencers are called upon to raise the global visibility of companies looking to expand their reach both within and outside of Japan. Looking for insight and ideas? Our speakers will tell you how downturns can be opportunities to differentiate your company and your brand in the marketplace.

‘Ogilvy on Recession’
is one of the marketing communications company’s major themes for 2009. The company has launched a brand new website where you can download its views on how CEOs, marketers and communications people can get through the recession. Given the severity and unpredictability of the current economic crisis, the reality is that marketing budgets will be cut. Ogilvy’s website can help you to identify where and how to cut budgets, how to optimize what’s left, and how to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
