Jennifer Fujita

Community Service Director

Jennifer Fujita is originally from Vancouver and has been in Japan, on-and-off, since 1998. She joined FEW in 2001 and loved the meetings and all the members, but left Tokyo in 2004 for a couple of years to travel, work at a couple of non-profit organizations, volunteer in Uganda and go back to school in Canada for international business. Now Jennifer is back in Tokyo, working for an American public relations firm, as an account executive.

Jennifer is delighted to join the FEW Board as of 2007 as Community Service Director. After volunteer stints in both South East Asia and Africa, she became very interested in the areas of international development and the non-profit sector. At the community level, Tokyo offers a wide variety of NGOs, non-profits and charitable organizations. Jennifer hopes that with the energy of FEW, she can help raise awareness and contribute to this growing non-profit community through events, fundraisers and campaigns.
