SKYLINES

People for Social Change (PSC), in collaboration with Development Executives, NPO Social Concierge, Japanese-American Citizens League, IWIC, Parties for Peace and Net Impact and FEW (Foreign Executive Women), with support from Fujimama’s Restaurant is organizing Skylines a professional networking party to raise money for 3 local nonprofits addressing the needs of women and youth. Skylines will give you a chance to "meet, greet, eat, drink and be involved".

Skylines will be held on Saturday June 14, from 4:00 t0 7:30 pm on the 20th floor of the Shinsei Bank HQ. Before June 1, tickets will be available for \5000. Due to limited space, this event’s attendance will be limited to the first 200 people who pay for tickets.

Skylines promises to be a fun event for all as it is much more than just a party. Skylines aims to
*bring together socially concerned individuals and groups.
*raise much-needed funds for 3 local, Japan-based nonprofit organizations
* provide you with the chance to learn about the work of many different individuals and nonprofit groups.

You can savor the distinctive food of Fujimama's restaurant, talk or network with a variety of interesting and socially active people, and enjoy jazz and latin jazz while taking in the sunset. There will be brief presentations by the nonprofits as well as a raffle for prizes donated by a wide range of companies

Funds raised from cash donations, drinks, raffle and a portion of the ticket cost will go to 3 nonprofit organizations working locally:
Tokyo Shure (Alternative education center Japanese school refusing youth),
Kalakasan Migrant women’s empowerment center (Support programs for domestic violence victims & survivors)
Polaris Project Japan (Outreach and services for victims of human trafficking)

People for Social Change (PSC) is a Tokyo-based volunteer group committed to empowering people to become more actively involved in their own communities. PSC runs panel discussions and skill development workshops, networking events & projects aimed at linking people to local organizations.
