Speaker: Attica Alexis Jaques, Senior Director of Marketing, Gap Japan
Topic: “Local Marketing for Global Brands”
Attica Alexis Jaques serves as Senior Director of Marketing for Gap Japan where she leads all aspects of marketing for Gap brand including: advertising, media planning/buying, promotions, partnerships, public relations and consumer relationship marketing. Assuming this role in early 2005, she recently moved to Japan in December 2005 to build an in-country marketing team for Gap Japan.
Jaques joined Gap Inc. in July 2000 as Global Advertising Manager for Gap brand. Since that time she has held positions as Director of Brand Management for babyGap and Marketing Director for the International division residing in San Francisco, California.
Previously, Jaques was the Marketing & Communications Manager for PRADA IPI Corporation, managing all facets of advertising, media and production for multiple brands within the PRADA Corporation. In this role, she resided in Milan Italy and Manhattan, New York.
Before joining PRADA in 1996, Jaques began her career in marketing at Barneys New York.
Jaques graduated from the University of California Los Angeles, UCLA with a B.S. in Social Psychology.
