Erica Angyal is a nutritionist, health consultant, and writer. Her greatest passions are the areas of preventative nutrition and natural anti-ageing strategies. She is the creator of ELIXA organic herbal teas, the official nutritionist of Miss Universe Japan, works as a health columnist for several magazines, writes for the Japan Times newspaper, and is the author of “Gorgeous Skin in 30 days: The Natural Anti-aging Plan for Radiant Youthful Skin” (Lothian Books Australia, September 2005).

In this presentation, Erica will discuss diets and why your focus should be on inner health and vitality, not weight loss and counting calories. She will examine the ‘dos’ and ‘don'ts’ of a healthy balanced diet and lifestyle, and explain why health is a complete package.

She will also share some of her personal strategies on how to improve your skin from the inside out and illustrate how even minor changes to your diet and lifestyle can boost youth, energy, and vitality including radiantly beautiful skin.

There will be a book signing after the presentation.

Born in Sydney Australia, Erica graduated from the Sydney University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science. She also holds a diploma in Nutrition from Nature Care College in Sydney, and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).

Before commencing her studies in the areas of nutrition and acupuncture, she worked for several Japanese companies in the capacity of translator and international liaison officer. She has also worked extensively in television in Japan, appearing in various general interest TV programs and quiz shows. She has spent several years living in Greece and France but has lived for more than ten years in Tokyo. She first came to Japan as an exchange student when she was 15. Gorgeous Skin in 30 Days is her first book.
