JAXA Tsukuba Space Center Tour
The Moon, the planets, the launch vehicle, the International Space Station: there are so many things you want to know about in space. Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency or JAXA, provides a wide range of information and educational services. Come with us on a tour of JAXA Tsukuba Space Center and learn the latest and most accurate information about JAXA’s space and aeronautics research and development.
Date: Sunday, June 19th, 2005
Meeting Time: 9:00 am (tour starts at 11:00 am sharp)
Location: Tokyo Station’s Yaesu South Exit, Bus stand No.3 (Destination: Tsukuba Center, 70 min travel time – one way)
Price: 2,500 yen per person (roundtrip bus fare)
*Attendees will be responsible for their own lunch arrangements.*
Things to consider:
- Visitor admission to the JAXA Space Center is FREE! (But there is a small gift shop here at the Space Center if you really want to spend some money!)
- All of the "points of interest" are indoors, but we will have to walk from building to building, so please wear (casual) comfortable clothing/shoes, and consider bringing an umbrella if you wish.
RSVP: To reserve your place, please e-mail Sandi Lwin (sandi.lwin@ejgallo.com) by Wednesday, June 15th. (You will receive an email confirmation from Sandi.)
(Please note that advance reservations are required for security clearance purposes.)
If you need to cancel or get lost on the day, please call Sandi (080-5011-3608).
