Topic:

Geeta Mehta has lived and worked in Tokyo for the past 18 years. As part of her architectural consulting practice, Geeta has designed interiors for firms such as AIG, Morgan Stanley and the American Malls Inc. and master plan for Quang Trung Software Technology in Vietnam. She also teaches architecture related courses at the Temple University in Japan.

Geeta received her M.S. in Architecture from Columbia University in New York, her Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo.

Geeta also heads a non-profit organization “Swaminathan Foundation in Tokyo ” that has sent over 2500 computers and seed money for over 100 micro credit banks to rural and educational projects in developing countries in S. Asia.
